Cast Stainless Steel V-Band 6-1 Merge Collector - Mid Frame

The Ichiban Engineering mid frame V-band merge collector was engineered from the ground up to solve the weak point every fabricated collector shares - the weld line that eventually cracks under sustained heat and boost.
This collector has already proven itself where it matters - validated through 3D printing and real-world testing before ever reaching production, not just sketched and welded together like most of what's on the market.
Manufactured entirely through precision investment casting in SS304 stainless steel, the collector is produced using the lost-wax casting method with ceramic shell molds to achieve exact geometry and a flawless internal finish in a single one-piece unit.
During development, the internal flow path was optimized in CAD before a single unit was cast, focused on smoother gas transitions and reduced turbulence. The result is improved exhaust flow and turbo response compared to a hand-welded equivalent.
Unlike welded collectors, the one-piece cast construction eliminates the seam that fails first under sustained heat and boost - critical for mid-frame turbo applications running real pressure, not just a street tune.
The collector is designed to work with mid-frame turbos in the 70mm to 88mm range - Garrett GTX and G-Series, Precision, and Turbosmart all fit, making it ideal for serious street, drag, and circuit builds regardless of which brand turbo is bolted to it.
A single 60mm wastegate port comes standard, compatible with Tial or Turbosmart 60mm gates. Smaller gates will need proper welding or a reduction adapter to fit.
Material is investment cast stainless steel 304, with a recommended pipe fitment of 1-1/4" SCH10 42mm OD.
