These rods are made from 4340 billet steel and use an enlarged 7/16" ARP 8740 rod bolt - a significant upgrade over the smaller 3/8" bolts used by other manufacturers, allowing for a higher torque setting while keeping cost relatively low.
 
Our design incorporates dual oiling on the small end for better lubrication of the piston pin, improving reliability under sustained high-RPM, high-boost use.
 
Every set of 1JZ GTE con rods is matched to within 0.5g prior to packaging, ensuring rotating-assembly balance for smooth, consistent performance.
