The Ichiban Engineering 2JZ GE billet upper water neck replaces the aging factory cast housing with something actually built for a turbo swap - not a naturally aspirated economy engine that got repurposed for boost.
CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade billet aluminum, this isn't a cosmetic upgrade - it's a structural one. Where the OEM piece cracks and corrodes over time, this holds up to real heat cycling and doesn't care how many times you've bled the cooling system.
We didn't just copy the OEM shape and call it billet. The design integrates sensor and fitting options directly into the housing, so your plumbing stays clean whether you're running OEM-style hoses or building a full custom AN cooling loop. The ORB outlet takes barb fittings or -16AN / -20AN lines - your call, no compromise either way.
Length matters more than people think on a swap. We optimized the overall housing length specifically to hold proper OEM-equivalent fitment once fittings are installed - so your radiator hose routing doesn't turn into a fight.
Running VVTi? Already handled. The design retains the OEM VVTi line mounting point, so you get a clean, factory-style install without hacking together a workaround.

When trying to clean up my GE for my swap and turbo I was unsure on what I wanted to do for cooling. This and their other GE adapter for the lower neck made things easy. 16an or barb fittings give you plenty of options.
