The Ichiban Engineering 1JZ / 2JZ Billet Water Inlet Alternator Bracket is designed for high-performance JZ builds running external electric water pumps, combining cooling system functionality and alternator mounting into one precision-engineered billet solution.
Developed as a true water pump delete conversion, this bracket replaces the factory mechanical water pump assembly while providing a clean and efficient solution for custom cooling setups commonly used in drag racing, drift, time attack, and high-horsepower street applications.
Machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade billet aluminum, the bracket delivers exceptional strength, rigidity, and corrosion resistance while dramatically improving engine bay aesthetics compared to the OEM cast components.
The integrated coolant outlet features a -16 ORB port compatible with either AN16 or AN20 fittings, allowing flexibility for a wide range of cooling system configurations. An additional optional coolant port on the back is also available for turbocharger water feed integration, simplifying plumbing on single turbo and custom turbocharger setups.
During development, we focused on creating a compact and rigid design that maintains proper alternator alignment while maximizing cooling system flexibility for modern motorsport applications.
Optional ORB to AN adapter fittings are available separately for seamless integration with AN16 or AN20 cooling hoses.
