The Ichiban Engineering Billet Aluminum Left Engine Mount is a high-performance replacement designed for Mitsubishi EVO 7, 8, and 9 owners who demand superior engine stability, improved power transfer, and long-lasting reliability.
 
By using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) during development, every contour and cavity of this mount was engineered to achieve maximum rigidity while minimizing unnecessary weight. The result is a mount that’s lighter than competing products — yet stronger and more resistant to deflection under load, ensuring precise engine positioning during acceleration, shifting, and cornering.
 
Each unit is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade billet aluminum, replacing the factory cast unit that’s known to flex, crack, or deteriorate under high power and heat. The mount houses a 75A durometer performance polyurethane bushing, carefully tuned to balance daily drivability with motorsport-level control.
 
Inside the bushing lies a stainless steel inner sleeve — not mild steel or zinc-coated parts — offering exceptional wear resistance, corrosion protection, and strength for years of abuse. Combined with fully stainless steel mounting hardware, this mount is designed to perform — and look — as good as it feels.
